Collinsville Water Association was established in 1964. Over the years, many upgrades and improvements have been made to safely and efficiently provide its members with clean, sparkling water. We strive to reduce water outages by performing routine maintenance to our facilites and systems. Collinsville Water Association is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected at the annual meeting. The annual meeting is held on the 3rd Thurdsay of August at 2:30pm in the Collinsville Water Association Office. All members are encouraged to attend. Additionally, the Board of Directors meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 12:00pm in the Collinsville Water Association Office to review, discuss and plan all aspects of Collinsivlle Water Association.
Collinsville Water Association currently has aproximately 1200 connections with aproximately, 75 miles of distribution lines, 2 wells, 1 elevated tank and 1 ground storage tank. We currently pump 600gpm.
With regards to continued efforts to be efficient, in its fiscal year 2021-2022 CWA invested $85,000 into rehabbing the well at the Martin Water Treatment Plant. We are continuing a meter change out program to replace aged residential meters. Additionally, the Board of Directors voted to move forward with a $5 million project to build a new treatment plant and an elevated tank. In its fiscal year 2022-2023, CWA spent over $350,000 to maintain infrastructure and produce and treat the water we provide our customers. We are continuing the meter change out program and treatment plant upgrade.
