Need a new meter installed at a service address?
To prepare for water meter installation, please follow the list below. They are listed in order of how they should be done.
- Contact Lauderdale County 911 office to obtain an address for the new house/structure site.
- Contact MS Dept of Health and complete the Notice of Intent form. Small fee for this.
- Complete Collinsville Water Association's new meter installation process. (see below)
Collinsville Water Association process for new meter installation:
- Submit Notice of Intent results to CWA
- Pay $550 new tap fee
- Pay $50 Membership fee. (Not due for existing members)
- Pay $50 New Account Fee
- Sign Water User Agreement (download form)
- Provide copy of Driver's License
- Provide a legal document as proof of ownership.
- If the water main is located across the road from where you need a meter installed, there will be a $600 road bore fee.
The customer is responsible for having a line installed and connected from the meter to the house/structure.
